Winter Lake Research Center is dedicated to researching methods and technology for sustainable living. The focuses are in the areas of gardening, alternative energy, cooking, health and the foraging, preparation and preservation of wild foods. This picture shows the main reseach garden. The angle is from the top of the small bluff that surrounds three sides of the center. It is a small space, but a tremendous amount of produce comes from it. Many experiments have been performed here.
